C.o.c.o.i. actively explores the ‘normal’ world for new layers of interpretation. It rediscovers things that are already there and captures moments of interpretation. By being a platform – as well as a playground – it connects existing and new points of view.

Title

Design Thinking & C.o.c.o.i.

Subject

A publication containing the curiosities made by the students during the workshops at HNU and CUST. The publication also served as navigation for the exhibitions.

Format

210 × 297 mm unbound, printed with a laser printer

The two exhibitions in Changsha where accompanied by publications. The publication showed the curiosities (small conceptual projects) made by the students during the workshop. Every student was given one page (A3) to show their work. The publication was folded afterwards which caused pages (images and titles) to overlap and interact with each other. You, the reader, are able to explore it so new combinations and interpretations of the works arise.

Because of the format of the publication (A4, unbound), it can be taken apart easily so students can hang it next to their projects at the exhibition: It served as a navigation and explanation for the exhibition.

The publication served also as navigation at the exhibition
