During a workshop participants make multiple curiosities – small, conceptual projects – centred around a specific (desired) topic. A range of short assignments (pressure-cooker format) help them in questioning the topic, and finding new interpretations.

During a 3-day workshop with this group of 4th year Graphic Design students at AKV|St. Joost in Breda the participants were asked to make a quartet of an event that took place in the year 1997.

By experimenting with different techniques – based on the event itself, conceptually or visually – the participants created visualisations of the event of their choice. By actively interpreting, thinking out loud and playing quartets together, new points of view and maybe even additional consequences of the events arose.

This workshops took place with two different groups at AKV|St. Joost, the results from the other group can also be found on this website.
