During a workshop participants make multiple curiosities – small, conceptual projects – centred around a specific (desired) topic. A range of short assignments (pressure-cooker format) help them in questioning the topic, and finding new interpretations.

This is what we did

In this third edition of C.o.c.o.i. China, students search for answers to how typography affects interpretation.
These photographs and works are the results of an exceptional week at Donghua University.
During this 5-day workshop students researched & experimented how typography relates to the environment it is presented in. They collected street typography, interacted with- and interpreted the character of Shanghai, and explored multiple typographic design solutions to express emotion and different tones of voice.

Discover, wonder, interact… Design is alive!
